These pictures were taken a few weeks ago.  The theme was not meant to be so dark; we were supposed to shot in some state park in Murrieta with the sun setting, but a park ranger approached me and told me that shooting what looks like a commercial shoot would have a $500 fine, commercial was defined by the person being photographed wearing anything other than hiking clothing.  Forcing us to relocate and in the process we lost the light.  We ended up taking a few pictures in a storm drain, yep a storm drain. 🙂

RANT WARNING:

I have been kicked out too many times to count this last year in California.  Last year I drove by the sand dunes on I-8 and even those were fenced in.  It is tough finding suitable places for photos without being harassed like I was by this shoot, the park ranger also told me that if I went to the other side of the reserve, the nicer side, the fines would double, and if the model changed clothes we would have been charged for filming “adult movies” and the fine would triple that already doubled fine.  Wow, this state is getting out of control! #gallery-6 { margin: auto; } #gallery-6 .gallery-item { float: left; margin-top: 10px; text-align: center; width: 100%; } #gallery-6 img { border: 2px solid #cfcfcf; } #gallery-6 .gallery-caption { margin-left: 0; } /* see gallery_shortcode() in wp-includes/media.php */
